Update on Philadelphia K-12 Schools

Today, city officials announced the Philadelphia School District will be opening up with a hybrid learning system.

Students will spend 2 days a week in the classroom and 3 days a week learning online. There is also an option for families who are not comfortable with sending their kids back to be fully online.

There is also consideration with pushing back the first day of school to September 2nd.

Social distancing, mask wearing, and frequent hand washing will be enforced.

However, there is still speculation surrounding the evolution of the status of COVID 19. It is still highly likely that schools will be taught only online.
